MOX Creative Launches new website, logo for the Regent Ballroom

The Regent Ballroom in Savoy Illinois has two areas of expertise.  They teach ballroom dancing, and hold events. With their myriad of offerings, the owners needed a new website that would allow them to not only market the business, but also act as a starting point for communications with new clients. Along with this new site, they needed a distinctive new logo that would capture the essence of the business. 

First we tackled their logo.  An thorough interview was held, and research conducted.  Then we took a look at their peers, current clients and desired clients.  In the end we settled on an elegant type-based logo set on top of a block of color.  Once this was completed a  set of colors,  typefaces and image handling methods were recommended that would serve to strengthen the overall brand.

Next, a new website that incorporated the visuals from the branding system was developed.  Through our conversations, it was  determined that only the information in select pages would change, and all updating would be done from one computer.  Based on this, we set up the site using Adobe Contribute templates, giving them the ability to quickly and easily update the site without having to pay for a custom CMS.

Did it work? Within the first week of the new site's life new clients had already used it to sign up for classes. With it's combination of functionality, ease of use, and stunning visuals, the Regent Ballroom now has a very powerful marketing tool to reach their audience.  Don’t just take our work for it though.
